Habba literally denotes festival in Kannada – the local State language of Karnataka. The Bengaluru Habba aims to provide valuable and aesthetic entertainment for the audiences.
Be it in the pure form of classical performance or the modern and popular version of the art, the Bangalore Habba has always been about celebrating the stage and its many facets, cutting across all boundaries.
‘Living life to the fullest’ has always been Manasi Prasad’s motto, and as one of the rising stars among the new generation of Carnatic musicians, she has certainly exemplified this. Manasi was initiated into Carnatic classical vocal music and Bharatanatyam dance at the age of 5 years.
